Design, Development, Calibration and Preliminary Results
Development and calibration of a low budget and partly self-financed Mars environmental simulation chamber, named Jens Martin Mars Chamber (JMMC). The preliminary results hint towards an ultraviolet photochemical reaction taking place on the surface of the primitive iron rich mineral olivine which might be responsible for the creation of the nanophase oxides in reddish Martian dust.
